Day 1
1st Stop: National Palace Museum (9:00-11:30)

The National Palace Museum located at Waishuangxi is built with Chinese palace style. The main exhibition areas with over 650,000 pieces of collections are located on the first to the third floors in the museum. The paintings and the Ru ware porcelain from the Song and Yuan dynasty are extremely rare and precious. You must also appreciate the most famous Meat-shaped Stone, Jadeite Cabbage, Along the River During the Qingming Festival, etc. At the National Palace Museum, you will be able to explore the long Chinese history over 5,000 years and experience the profound culture. 2nd Stop: Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence (12:30-14:30)
- Directions: Take bus line “Red 30 or 255”for about 50 minutes to the Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence.

Mr. Chiang Kai-Shek and his wife, Ms. Soong Mei-ling, had lived in the Shilin Residence for 26 years. Therefore, this is the most representative residence of the Chiang family. It was officially opened to the public in 1996 and has been listed as an ancient monument by the Ministry of Culture. Not far from the entrance of the residence displayed the seven-seater sedan of Ms. Chiang’s. The interior of the main building also presents the living details of Mr. Chiang and his wife. It gives visitors a real glimpse into the life of the first family at that time. Many flowers and trees are planted in the garden. The environment is quiet and comfortable. Flower exhibitions such as roses, chrysanthemums and tulips are held in the Shilin Residence every spring. It is a good place for visit and photography.

3rd Stop:Miniatures Museum of Taiwan (15:30-17:30)
- Directions:After leaving the Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence, walk to the Taipei Metro Shilin Station (about 10 minutes), take Tamsui-Xinyi Line to Zhongshan Station, transfer to Songshan-Xindian Line, get off at Songjiang Nanjing Station (G15), use Exit 4 or 5 and walk for 8 minutes.

The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is the first theme museum in Asia dedicated to contemporary miniature art. It has a wide variety of miniature fine works from the large buildings to the tiny tableware in the kitchen and picture frames in the bedroom. Everything is lifelike. These miniature art works are strictly adhered to a specific size that is 1/12 of the real object. It is worth mentioning that most of the materials of the works are mimicked from real life. The one-centimeter bottle is filled with real brandy, and the stamp-sized oil painting is painted by the real oil paint. Wandering in the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is like walking into an exotic time and space tunnel.

4th Stop: Miramar Entertainment Park (18:00-20:30)

Day 2
1st Stop: Yehliu Geopark (9:30-11:30)

Touted as one of the “Top 10 Incredible Landscapes in the World,” Yehliu’s stunning rock formations are molded by constant wind and ocean wave erosion. The most well-known one of them all is the Queen’s Head, but there are also candle rock, ice cream rock, mushroom rocks, fairy’s shoe, sea grooves, and honeycomb rock as well as Yehliu Lighthouse. The unique and unusual terrains have earned the reputation of a rare natural museum. 2nd Stop: Danshui Fishermen’s Wharf (13:30-15:00)

3th Stop: Tamsui Historical Museum (15:30-17:00)
- Directions: Take bus line Red 26 and get off at “Fort San Domingo Station” or walk about 30 minutes from Taipei Metro Tamsui Station or Fisherman’s Wharf.

The Tamsui Historical Museum features the preservation of local monuments. It is mainly composed of historical buildings such as Fort San Domingo, Little White House and Hobe Fort. Fort San Domingo is built with unique red bricks, circular arches and semi-circular arches. The interior retains the decoration and arrangement of British Consular Residence. The Hobe Fort had been ravaged by the war between Qing Court and France. Therefore, the broken walls are full of mottled traces. The Little White House is a retro colonial-style building. Day 3
